Editing Deep hatred of guns

Summer 1910 – Deep in the African Jungle - 

Young John Stevens was looking for food with his kinsman Ut-oh-na. Climbing the trees and grabbing fruits off the upper limbs. They had just cleaned a tree of its fruit when John noticed a group of men with long black sticks. John and Utohna jumped down to the ground and watched the men for a few moments, terror inside their bellies, as they have never seen these type of men before.

“Richard, I don’t know why you dragged us out here. There is nothing but trees and insects. There is not any tree-boy. We have been tromping through this jungle for three days now.”

“The natives said that there was a Boy who lived in Trees around here. We are going to find him.”

John and Utohna looked at one another hearing this foreign tongue and then back at the men. Fed up with hiding Utohna slid a little forward, signaling to John that he is going to take care of this.

The young ape slowly stood up with one of the orange yellow fruits in his massive hand and threw it at the last walking man. Startled the man turned around quickly and brought the blackstick up to his shoulder and pulled on it.

Utohna did not know what happened as the black stick exploded towards him and then the pain screamed through his body. Hot lead penetrated his chest and then the life left his body as he collapsed to the ground.

Seeing this John, screamed out in rage and jumped up. With speed and fury he ran towards the men and tackled the one that shot Utohna. His fist rained down upon the man quick and hard, turning his face into a mass of red.

The men stunned at this turn of events quickly regathered from their shock and grabbed the boy off there dead companion. John fought back though, escaping the grasp of the men and attacked another one, jumping onto his chest, knocking him down and started to beat the man to death with his massive fists.

Richard thinking quicker than the rest of the group grabbed a rope and threw it around the boy’s neck, quickly cutting off the oxygen of John, dragging him off his now dead companion. Walking backwards choking the life and fight out of John, the other men jumped on top of the boy, holding him down as ropes where brought out of hiding places in packs and John was quickly bound and gagged.

“Whelp, so much for the rumors of a Boy in the trees… We have gotten him and now shall turn quite a little profit…”
