Background[edit]
Cleveland was found on the doorstep of The New Old Way Home in 1894, at best only a few weeks old, and was named after the current president and the state governor at the time. He grew up to be a large, quiet lad and people often assumed he was stupid because of his size and demeanour. At 14 he headed west to work as a farm labourer. He's spent the years since mostly on the move, picking up work as a seasonal labourer here and there, and other assorted manual jobs.
