South of the village at the bottom of the hill there is a cave opening known as the spiders birth. It is said that in this cave are a large number of spiders of every size. From the size of a breadcrumb to the size of a large horse. Legend goes that the spiders used to terrorize the whole east from the sea to Hope’s beacon. Then Falador came and sealed most of the cave up. From that moment on only the smallest could exit the caves.

From a distance you can see the ground around the cave moving like water. Comming closer you see that it was in fact the countless spiders you saw crawling around. The spiders size range from the size of your hand to the size of a waterdrop. The spiders are pitch black with smooth round bodies. On their backs they have a green triangular mark.

Entering the cave you breathe in the damp and warm air. It reeks of death and decay. This will not be a pleasant stay. Walking everywhere are small spiders. As you walk you crush them by the dozen. The insides of the caves are covered in webs.
