Mental Malfunction: Arrogance. Doom never blames himself for anything, and believes that he will triumph always. This also leads Doom to believe that he and only he is qualified to hold supreme power-- even cosmic power-- if he can. His arrogance also gives Doom a somewhat twisted code of honor. As such, he never breaks his word-- though he usually won't give it unless he can benefit in some way. Doom is also obsessed with preserving his mother's memory and making Latveria a world power.
