APPEARANCE: Deadlift's physical appearance is that of a power lifter--very muscular (not ripped) but verging on the bulky side. His hair is buzzed and bleached blonde. This along with his general pudginess make his age hard to determine. Coming to the ring, he wears a traditional light blue satin hooded boxing robe, complete with a white fleur de lis pattern. His in-ring attire is extremely non-tradition, however, since he wears light blue satin karate-styled sweatpants (think Great Muta) with his footwear as white karate "five fingered" shoes (the kind where  you can see the individual toes) with black accents. Completing his attire, he wears a fabric velcro weight training belt (good for hiding his gut) and his hands and elbows are taped in a traditional boxing style.

'''IN-RING STYLE:''' A classically trained wrestler, Deadlift could be best described as a technical brawler. Relying mostly on getting his opponent to the mat via bodyslam or clothesline, Deadlift then wears them down with elbow and leg drops before applying any number of grappling holds. With wrestlers that are bigger than him, he focuses on the knees or shoulders; with smaller wrestlers, the chest and back.

'''OUTSIDE THE RING:''' Deadlift is a company man through and through. He’s the first one out to meet and greet the fans outside the venue, who appreciate his obnoxious Frenchman gimmick despite his heel standing. He understands the fans are what makes him money.

'''BACKGROUND:''' Deadlift gravitated toward power lifting in high school where his remarkable strength was recruited by Saul “The Crippler” Aubois. Aubois was a retired wrestler who ran a wrestling school known as “The Pit” because it was in a below street level warehouse. He also had connections to the French Canadian mob and cigarette smuggling. Deadlift started working as an mob enforcer, but grew weary of carrying around large cases of cigarettes and beating up elderly shopkeepers late on their payments. The only way his organization would let him out is if he represented them in the ring.
