The Ideru Glurpfish is a small, primitive fish with a relatively large jaw and small teeth suited to eating the plant life of the oceans of the planet Ideru. These small fish spend most of their lives in the kelp beds, using it as both food and shelter. Larger fish seldom venture into the kelp beds, so the glurpfish stay safe. They reproduce via eggs that are wrapped in kelp and looked after by both the father and the mother.
