Kyle Blake: Sensai's #1 Pupil

Aspect: Way of the Open Hand

Aspect: More rote than practice

Berserker: Presumed leader of The Horde.

Jack Brannigan: Undercover FBI Agent

There's a conspiracy brewing among the underworld gangs and he will get to the bottom of it--no matter what the cost.

But you can't ride with the Horde without becoming a Barbarian yourself. Jack has blood on his hands... and a family within the gang.

Nuwall Barker: Former Disco Superstar

Gave up fame and fortune when he received a vision from another world--but will anyone listen to the preaching of a washed-up disco singer?

Ignored by those in authority or positions of power, his preaching had been surprisingly prophetic. There are many among the fringe who consider him a modern day Nostradamus and support Nuwall with almost cult-like devotion.

Buff Mevins*: Star Athlete

Former college champion, now best quarterback in the NFL, but rumor has it he's being blackmailed...

Buff has been missing practices and showing up with unexplained injuries. He refuses to answer any questions, though if somewhere where to compare news stories to the dates of his away games…

Buff has some gambling debts and is indebted to the mob. They still get to him, but as Berserker's right hand man he receives enough protection that he can still manage to make his games. But Berserker's role might just be to keep an eye out on him for the mob.

Tommy Wu AKA "Tigon": professional wrestler and former(?) member of the Ghost Tigers. (Gang)

Has a side job selling used cars

Blessed/cursed with the gift of gab. A chatty wrestler in the ring, and he can talk you into buying anything, and I mean anything.

Inspector Isaac Castillo*: head of the Anti-Gang task force in the city.

Good friends with Lieutenant Carbone

His grandmother runs a fortune telling parlor downtown, which he tries to keep secret. More embarrassingly, Nana Castillo tells everyone that her grandson Isaac "has the sight" and will become a psychic himself. Don't mention this to his face...

The true 'power behind the throne' of the Horde. Beserker may lead the gang in battle, but Isaac is the one pulling his strings.

Rockstar Ashley Midnight: Hometown hero

Participates in organized martial arts tournaments on the street

Claims he taught Tommy Wu everything he knows.

Lieutenant Antony (Tony) Carbone: By-the-book police detective who has seen too much and now questions the powers he works for.

But he can't convince anybody of the truth, since even he has trouble believing the crazy things he's seen.

Not only that, but he is Vietnam veteran.

Lady Stingray*: DJ and operator of a pirate AM radio station that often broadcasts support of the gangs. No one knows who she really is, though some know how to contact her. (Inspired by the DJ in the movie, The Warriors.)

She knows too much to be a simple DJ... and the fact that she's remained hidden for so long means she's well connected.

Anonymously voice acts a female warrior on a cult fantasy cartoon series.

Lady Stingray has an unknown agenda that's 90 degrees to what everyone else is working on. And she can make or break any cop, fed, kingpin, or tycoon--but no one's sure what's the criteria to become her enemy or ally.

Lau Pei-Cheung: Martial arts master from Hong Kong who runs a kung fu academy in Chinatown. Who's side is he on?

Rumor says he knows the secret of The Glow...(ki mastery) and may pass on it on to a worthy disciple.

Owns a chain of very popular restaurants called Topaz Jade in English and is known to be a master chef, as well.
