The creation of Portal Gates is a dangerous and fickle power.  An initiate prepares a gate in two locations according to the requirements of the power ritual and their own esthetics. Then enacting the gate creates a portal between the two gates.  once created a passage exists between those two points even if the esthetic portions of the gate are destroyed.

*5 Basic Ability.  Create Gates
 
*10 Advanced Ability.  Remove gates.
 
*20 Master Ability.  Detect gates.  Redirect Gates.  Erase gates

*A gate is created materially in two locations. 
 
*The initiate drains 40% of his body's blood and castes the gate power into the liquid. 
 
*He then paints the gates with the prepared blood and uses the power again. 
 
*Whichever gate is opened first is its main direction. 
 
*To destroy the gate's physical representation the first gate created must be destroyed.  If a gate is destroyed, only the gates original creator can locate the gate and activate it.
 
*Any initiate can destroy the physical side of a gate they create.  An Advanced initiate may destroy the physical gate of any gate. It requires a Master Initiate to erase a gate.
