Lawful Neutral Human Male Paladin 3

  • Dexterity: 12
  • Constitution: 18
  • Intelligence: 14
  • Wisdom: 16
  • Charisma 12

Appearance

A young man in his late teens. Gil is relatively good looking and only marginally marred by his constantly apathetic face and cold uncaring eyes. Gil lacks much of the "bishonen" look to him as he has trained his body into a more masculine physique. However there is a certain softness to Gil's looks when he lets his guard down and smiles. Considering so few have seen him smile it's no wonder he's better well known for his former appearance than his latter.

Personality

Gil is a straight man to many people's stupidity. In a comedy act he'd be the guy always clonking the other one on the head with a fan or hammer (ironic how a warhammer is his favored weapon) and is typically the first with a logical response. However this does not mean he is without his ability to suspend disbelief. Gil can be deathly silent for an entire magical journey of rainbows popping out of bunnies ears and unicorns dancing in the moonlight. Only then to speak up when someone manages to swiftly jump over an enemy's overhead sword stroke and point out just how unlikely that is.

Underneath the bitterness Gil has a genuine love of homecooked meals and an attraction to damsels in distress. This is secretly why he became a paladin but he wouldn't honestly tell anyone. After all what are the chances of finding an overly enthusiastic girl who has a pension for getting herself into trouble and then begging for rescue right when she realizes just how much trouble she's in, Right?

Background

Gil is Cyne's younger brother and by most accounts the black sheep of the family. Not in that he betrayed his morals or the families lineage. Simply that he became a mercenary and sold his skills with the sword to further his own desires. What this desire was we may not know but for whatever reason Gil sells his services at a reasonable price and has received nothing short of good reviews for those who've hired him.

He's not a particularly pleasant fellow to work with but he gets the job done and rarely asks questions. This doesn't mean he is without morals however. Gil has mostly turned down any job that he finds as suspicious or leaves a bad taste in his mouth but since his most proffered (morally and skillfully) job is bodyguard that's what he's done and that's what he continues to do to this day.

Gil's relationship with Cyne is not quite known yet...
