- Kaul Lokison of Asgard is born. The half-Asgardian/half-Frost Giant is raised on Earth tp keep him away from the influence of his father Loki, God of Mischief.

- The outlaw science hero Weaver's long-distance teleportation experiment is interrupted by the mercenary-organization known as the Wrecking Crew. Weaver and Piledriver disappear in the resulting spatial-displacement rupture.
