• Background & Description: Helena is a pale, inky-haired 30-something who favors antique black and gray clothing. Once the owner of a prosperous occult book shop and the sole heiress to her family's granite monument fortune, Helena fell on hard times last year when her diabolist boyfriend's ritual with his pet succubus went awry, resulting in the destruction of Helena's house and a good-sized chunk of the surrounding city block. The resulting legal bills forced Helena to sell everything she owned, including her beloved shop and almost all of her books, and plunged her deeply into debt. Although she is still uncomfortable with her newfound notoriety, Helena has decided to make the most of it and possibly even turn a profit, since everyone believes she was responsible for blowing up the house (and her boyfriend and his succubus mistress) anyway.
