The Astral

The Astral is superimposed directly over every realm, touching all of them. Astral beings cannot affect non-astral beings and vise versa. When a character astral-projects, they may affect and be affected by astral beings.

Though the Astral overlays every reality, characters who enter the astral cannot follow it into other realms. They can only traverse the astral where it overlaps the realm they entered from.

The Neverwhen

Between the mortal realm and Faerie lies the Neverwhen. A place of pure magic, the Neverwhen is said to contain gates to every world ever conceived in the sleepful thoughts of gods. The Neeverwhen is the provence of the Wildlings, but a rare few gifted in magic are said to be able to enter and traverse the Neverwhen, but it is not an endeavor lightly undertaken.

Faerie

The land of the Fae lies so close to the mortal realm as to map to it almost perfectly, but time and other natural phenomena seem to function differently there, and it should not be entered lightly or without considerable preparation.

Sidhe Mounds: Sidhe Mounds are permanent nexi through which the Fae might enter the mortal realm without traversing the Neverwhen.
Mushroom Rings: Mushroom rings act as temporary portals cultivated by faelings in the mortal realm to lure unsuspecting mortals into Faerie.
