Bakersfield, California
- Agents will be with the FBI in Bakersfield, California. The Bakersfield office is small and underfunded with about 12 or so total agents. Most of the facilities are up to date but are usually in use. Anything that can't be handled in Bakersfield can be sent to the parent office in Sacramento, but that could increase the time before results. It can also call attention on the little Bakersfield office, and Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Slater would prefer not to have the big guys meddling with his office
