Capsule: Susan was the fiancee of scientific genius Reed Richards. When Reed went into an unauthorized space flight, Sue went with him. The crew of the experimental spaceship was mutated by exposition to cosmic rays and gained superhuman powers. Sue gained the power to become invisible.
