Stats

Primary Stats rated from -2 to +2

Strength, Intelligence, Stealth, Magic

Secondary Stats are Fate and Rank. Fate is rated from 0 to 20. Rank is rated from -2 to +2.

Derived Stats are Defence and Resistance.

Skills

Skills are rated from 0 to +3

Strength Based

Talents

Lizard Slayer (2) 
Character gets +2 when targetting Scaled enemies.
Bird Slayer (2) 
Character gets +2 when targetting Feathered enemies.
Undead Slayer (2) 
Character gets +2 when targetting Risen enemies.
Demon Slayer (2) 
Character gets +2 when targetting Infernal enemies.
Dodge (4) 
Character gets +1 Defence. May be taken twice (becomes Improved Dodge).
Wards (3) 
Character gets +1 Resistence. May be taken twice (becomes Improved Wards).
Night Fighter (2) 
Character takes no penalty for Blindness.
[Weapon/Spell] Master (3) 
Character may attack two targets, but rolls 2D6+1 instead of 3D6.
[Weapon/Spell] Champion (+3) 
Character may attack three targets, but rolls 2D6+1 instead of 3D6. Or character may attack two targets without penalty. Requires and replaces Master.
Shield Master (3) 
Character gets +1 Defence when using a shield.
Reflexes (3) 
Character gets +1 Initiative.
Drill (2) 
Musket Reload Difficulty reduced to 15.

Spells

Roar (1) 
Targets all enemies simultaneously; those affected take -3 Initiative for the rest of the combat round. Speed +4.
Frenzy (4) 
Target makes an extra Weapon attack instantly. +4 to Attack Roll, Speed -3.
Jade Darts (3) 
Target Wounded. Speed +2.
Wind (2) 
All PCs get +2 Defence vs Sling, Kylie and Woomera until end of combat. Speed +1.
Lightning (5) 
Target 1D6 + Lightning Prowess targets. Lightning Prowess does not add to Attack Roll. Targets Wounded. Speed -2.
Demon Shape (5) 
Character may fight normally with Speed + 2, Defence +2, using Magic and Demon Shape Prowess for Stat and Skill and making two attacks per round. Must beat a Resistance of 14 to attack in the round spell is cast. Speed -1.
Heal (3) 
Wounded character may return to combat. +2 to Attack Roll, Speed -3.

Character Creation

1. Players choose their character's Primary Stats; the total must equal 1. A starting PC's Rank is -2 and Fate is 0.

2. Players buy Skills, Talents and Spells from a pool of 20 points.

Skills cost 2 points for +1, 5 points for +2, and 8 points for +3. Musket Prowess may not be chosen as a starting Skill.

The costs for Talents and Spells are identified in parenhteses next to their entries. Drill may not be a starting Talent.

3. Players select two types of weapon (any number) and one other item. Exotic items are not avilable.

4. Players calculate Defence and Resistance.
