'''Appearance:''' A fairly decent looking young man who's only flaw is that he fails to take proper care of himself. As such he often looks hackneyed or thrown together. When he adopts the identity of Izdubar he appears as himself as he doesn't actually take the time or effort to hide his actual appearance.


'''Powers:''' Like his father Gil is incredibly strong, hardy and fast. Though not as powerful as his father was he can easily stop an oncoming truck with his bear hands and could probably survive most projectile attacks (guns, rockets or bullet fast shrapnel). Gil oddly lacks the power of flight and whether or not this is a sign of his father's weakened condition wearing off on him or he simply didn't inherit such a gift from him is not quite known.


From his mother's side of the family he inherited her ability to wield any weapon and his sense of battle is also incredibly acute. Though he seems to lack her ability to counter any attack and as such is not completely the great warrior she is.


'''Background:''' Gil is, quite bluntly, an abomination. An idea that should probably never came about. Not a creation of mad science or alien technology nor a product of demon and human but rather he is a sort of hybrid that many would call just as strange and perverted. The love child of the world's greatest hero and another world's greatest villain.


Gil Leeds is the son of Mark Leeds, AKA [[The Centurion]] along with Mrs. Eris Leeds, AKA [[Mars (The Villainess)]]. In order to understand this you must first understand a sort of horrifying truth about Centurion.


Centurion's final battle against Omega did not result in his death. Rather it resulted in him being transported to another dimension. Another alternate Earth similar to his home world. However upon his arrival Centurion discovered to his horror and wonder that in this world. Zeus had not decided to leave mortals alone. Nay it was his guidance and power that kept the Greek Empire alive and well. It was within this alternate world that Centurion encountered the greatest villainess that world had to offer. Mars was the "chosen" of Ares (ironically Ares in this world was a female god and the known symbol of woman represented her) and was thus given an incredible power by ''her''.


Mars was, without a doubt, a truly powerful force. She was a woman who, with an army of amazon like warriors, set out to take over the entire world. Centurion, faced with such evil and holding onto his ideals of good, vowed not to return to his own world until this woman was stopped.


The original confrontation between the two was how most superhero stories go. Mars would unleash one of her secret plans on an unsuspecting populous and the gold plated hero would fly out of the blue to rescue the city from certain damnation. At first the two found each other to be as all villains and heroes had been to each other. Nothing but a nuisance they would stomp. Mars had successfully defeated many heroes who tried to stop her, Centurion was also an avid defeater of villains from across the cosmos. But as the two fought the more the two found a strange sense of begrudging respect for one another.


This went on well for about ten years in the alternate Earth. The two of them forced to face each other again and again. Mars commanded by her deity and Centurion forced by his ideals not to abandon the people who had grown to fear the incarnation of war that Mars was.


Mars found a strange powerful quality in Centurion's devotion to his ideals, though she couldn't exactly agree with the ideals herself she found the strict determination to be... attractive. Centurion had, on the other hand, grown to see that the woman had a small sense of compassion inside her. Despite her solder's ruthlessness toward opposing solders she had, on several occasions, spared the lives of those who surrendered or innocent bystanders who could do no harm. Centurion, divulging into his heroic self, decided to try and convince Mars that the path of war and evil was not the correct one.


Mars had, naturally, found his speeches and diplomatic bursts to be laughable at best. So the two kept fighting like always and still remained each other's "nemesis" but both the scholarly Athenians (who Centurion had protected for most of the time) found he was less willing to attack the Armies of Mars and instead try more passive means. The Athenian's respected him for it but they weren't too pleased that more damage was being done because he had lost some of his battle determination.


The Spartonzs (as Mars's army was called) also found their leader and chosen one was, safe to say, getting soft. She was less willing to send her troops into battle and always seemed to be more curious than worried or concerned if Centurion would be there. There was even a case she spared Centurion's life. There was no doubt about it. Both had a strange connection to each other now.


The two were forced to untie against Omega, who knew Centurion had come to this world and had decided to follow him after recovering from his failed attempt at Earth. In a matter of months the entire world was thrown into war with the demented world destroyer who had a ''special plan'' for Centurion when the man once again confronted him with help from Mars.


Omega sprung a trap. Though not powerful enough to KILL Centurion the trap essentially zapped all the strength from the famous hero. It was designed to make Centurion powerless permanently. Although it worked, Centurion retained enough strength to rescue himself and Mars from Omega's grasp. Tearfully, Centurion was forced to flee through another inter dimensional portal and leave Mars's home world in the hands of Omega.


This is where things pick up as Mark Leeds has returned to Big Cherry! Once more the 20 some years he spent had only lasted about a few months as time must have flowed oddly in Mars's home world. Still the woman was now cut off from her god and without her she was near powerless. Both of them realized that they were practically useless thanks to Omega's intervention and looking at the statues and legends that he had carved out. Mark Leeds decided then and there that it was perhaps best that Centurion stayed dead.


His powers were fading now. And with no where else to go he and Mars reluctantly settled down outside Freedom city and started a family. Amazingly Centurions repressed powers seem to have not only allowed him to have a son but have one who had a semblance of his father's original strength.


Gil basically grew up like all other children except for the fact that his mother is an evil wench by most stereotypical accounts of the word and his father is the greatest superhero to ever live. Gil, however, doesn't really wish to live up to any expectation or goal because of his oddly polarized upbringing. He is perfectly content being a normal college student for now and it is yet to be seen what the name "Izubar" means for him.

Gil recently adopted the name Izdubar after a run in with the Gemstone Girls and his friend Chantal who was currently under their control as Amethyst Ally. The armor that appears on him does so without his will and due to it's connection with the old hero Gilgamesh he has gained the animosity of [[Ishtar]].

'''Personality:''' Laid back mixed in with some good old narcissism. Gil is somewhat a typical apathy induced teenager given super powers. While not disillusioned with ideology he is not supportive of a good > evil belief system his father carries to this day. Truly it is the most simple equation one can preform. What is good + evil? Neutral.


'''Motivation:''' Alturism and malice are both known to him but he tends to ignore both. He doesn't wish to help people because of the small amount of cynism he developed. But harming them seems to give him a small chill that makes him not QUITE the villain his mother was.

There is one thing that will get him to take action, however, if [[Chantal Chandler|Chantal]] is ever in danger he will typically do his best to help her. As she is his closest and most personal friend (combined with the fact Gil feels a sort of parental obligation to her) he will typically be the first to save her out of the blue. And considering how often trouble seems to control/follow her he tends to save her a lot.


'''Role-playing Tips:''' Somewhat like Spiderman without the angst that "His Uncle Ben Died!" he carries around with him typically. Gil should typically be played as apathetic and easily annoyed.
