Mr. Stone has two children, Gabriel and Madison, and a wife, Claire. He's been married for 25 years. Jacob is generally a no nonsense type of person. He finds Gabriel's generally lack of drive or ambition to be particularly vexing and brings up Gabriel's plans for the future often. Despite their differences, Jacob and Gabriel get along well enough. The two love one another, Jacob just wants to be proud of his son.

He has a soft spot for his daugher, though. Madison is "daddy's little girl."
