Yir Tangee[edit]

City of Monuments, Yir Tangee

L-8

Yir Tangee, not far off the Hydian Way in the Colonies, is a temperate planet of lush plains, rolling hills, and young mountains. Humans settled it and -- for many years -- subsisted on a bountiful agricultural industry, importing foodstuffs and livestock. Although plenty of ore could be found in the mountains and the upper crust of the planet, mining was only carried out on a limited basis, as the original settlers were extremely protective of the planet's natural habitat.

Ruled by a handful of noble houses that make up the planetary government, it has recently gone through several changes. About a generation before the Clone Wars, mining and manufacturing has been explored more and more, though always in the safest, least harmful manner for the environment; recent advances in mining technology have allowed this to prosper. Though some conservatives still complain, the planet is clearly headed toward becoming a major center for Droid parts manufacturing. Unfortunately, during the events of the Clone Wars, several members of the planetary government had already been deeply involved with the Trade Federation and the Commerce Guild due to new manufacturing plants opening up on the planet. This has caused a deep rift between the conservative members of the government and the nouveau riche involved in interplanetary trade.

Important Locations[edit]

  • City of Monuments - capital city.
  • Tharion Estates - the homes and offices of the leading noble house.

Bubondinox III[edit]

L-9

"The earliest records in the Republic regarding Bubondinox III indicate there were two expeditions sent during the Republic's earliest days. Then a mining expedition sent much, much later. The first two were within 100 years or so of each other, and accounts differ as to which was sent first. One was comprised of a fanatic religious cult, the other was a penal colony. Neither group lasted that long. You can find traces of their camps or bones, even after all these years. Of course, there are tales of some of them still out there living in the swamps." Duke Kelverton Jorwahl

Bubondinox I and III both rotate around the star X43381, nobody has actually bothered to name the star yet. Bubondinox II is now in pieces. It's remains are the asteroids that litter the system. It is believed this catastrophic event was the impetus for the creation of the mining charter, which lead to the discovery of the gonch. The gonch is an arthropod, more like a crustacean than an insect. It flourishes in the many swamps that cover BDX3. It's waste product is a very stable nitrate and can be stored and transported very efficiently.

The government is currently dominated by House Lexiume. Frequent internecine warring between different mining groups over territory lead to what many considered to be harsh but sadly necessary measures by Grand Archduke Nithian Jorwahl the 8th. More modernization and political reform are being considered by many younger members of the house.

Important Locations[edit]

  • Cajus Thex - port city at the base of a skyhook. The name means "Swamp City."
    • The Syllac Tree Inn - motel in Cajus Thex.
    • The Captain's Flask - casino in Cajus Thex.

Mossak[edit]

R-6

Mossak is a planet in the Outer Rim Territories, located at the end of the Perlemian Trade Route and at the start of the Tingel Arm. It is located near Felucia and Galidraan. The Barony of Myndrav has since fallen to a distant blood relation -- Xilaren Myndraav -- due to the death of the final ruling family member in the main line of secession.

The world is largely at a lower tech-level, having been settled a long time ago and then cut off from the galaxy during various wars among Sith and Jedi, as well as falling to internal conflict. It has only been the past three generations that have seen explorers return to Mossak, paving the way for a single spaceport to be built, and a return to political conventions hoping to create a planetary government.

Important Locations[edit]

  • Barony of Myndrav - small barony, economically ruined by the excesses of previous rulers.
