He doesn't recall much about his creator. Something about a cactus. But after that, he had moved through the Miststar crime scene as a freelancer. He was finally caught at the Defensive Wall Incident six months before the events in Miststar, when he was caught by the Marshals outside of the particularly large hole he just punched in it. Since then, he was bounced around from prison to prison, as they tried to figure out the best location to arrange his execution, and so he couldn't figure out how to break free.
