Background: Born on the Planet of Iras, a barren ball lacking all the basics for life as humanity knew it. They lived well, creating what they needed from the raw material of the planet itself. He was rare, lacking the Warrior spirit that his people prized so highly. He was more focused in intellectual pursuits, far more slight than his brothers. When it came the time in his life for him to journey he made his way from his world, and went in search of those like him. He visited several worlds before discovering Earth. He sensed the Radiation coming off earth in many high ranges. He arrived at Earth, and homed in on the Particle Accelerator at HIT (the largest active one at the time.).
A physics professor called the Freedom League who found him pacing around the particle accelerator and looking interested. They helped him learn English, and in exchange for him transmuting heavy materials for their local reactor and other experiments, they have offered room, board, and tution so he could attend the HIT classes. He managed to learn enough English and background knowledge to get by in his classes, and found that he was soon able to excel. Despite his lack of skill compared to his own people, he found that in addition to his own knowledge, his abilities made him quite strong. He has gradually assimilated to human society, thanks to his classmates and television. He has offered to join the new team, as an opportunity to get access to new and interesting technology as well.
