Three Bronze Rings

  • Merchant-Prince Xu Weimin, chairman of the Bird's Progress chapter of the Square Hole Circle and proprietor of the Silken Wave Company.
  • Old Doc Baozhen, boss of the Four Ox Union whose kindly demeanor belies a savvy and ruthlessly pragmatic mind.
  • Kingfisher, head of the Eagle Talons of Bird's Progress and one of Gallant Eagle's oldest, closest advisers and friends.
  • Red-Claw Shu, Eagle Talon champion and former Black Tiger Tournament winner; dead by poison in a failed assassination attempt on the Second Dragon Prince.
  • Second Dragon Prince, younger son of the Southern Dragon King and Empress Stingray, dispatched to Bird's Progress to negotiate an alliance with the Three Bronze Rings
  • Captain Wulong, known as the 'Devil of the Bohai', he represents the reach of the Southern Dragon Pirate Clan in these northern waters.
