This page is for the game Lost in the Depths, a Savage Worlds RPG focused on an oceanic planet where a spaceship crash landed and the crew are trying to survive the alien environment.

Player Characters

  • P-Four - Robotic Bodyguard to Cult Leader - played by L'ennui

Stored Gear

This section lists of gear and other assets available to the group that they are not carrying on their persons. Because this game revolves around survival and resource management we will be tracking ammunition, food, and other critical resource consumption.

Equinox

The Equinox is a small merchant vessel which crashed on the unknown planet. Details about the ship will be added here over time.

Dice Rolling

Huge thanks to Pandorym, I wasn't having much luck getting this to work but now this is workable!

Every dice roll is to be done on Orokos using the campaign name "Savage Worlds Lost in the Depths". This allows us to see all dice rolls for the campaign in one spot. Here is a brief guide on how to do the dice rolling.

  1. Get an account with Orokos.com (don't worry, it's free)
  2. Click on Dice Roller, then Roll Some Dice
  3. Fill in the fields as listed below:

    Character Name: Your character's name

Campaign Name: Savage Worlds Lost in the Depths

Description: Right a brief description of what you are rolling (i.e. Fighting attack vs giant octopus)

Dice to Roll: Assuming you are rolling a d8 test, you would put 1d8o8; 1d6o6 This tells Orokos to roll 2 dice (a d8 and a d6) and if you get the highest result on the die then roll another die and add it to the score.

  4. Copy/paste the results into a SBLOCK on your IC post.

If your dice roll doesn't appear on the campaign page on Orokos it doesn't count. No exceptions.

If you want to do some test rolls go ahead, just put "Testing" in the character name field so we know it's a test die roll (or enter a different campaign name on the dice testing rolls).

You can see all dice that have been rolled for the campaign here: Dice Rolls

Example roll: I want to punch the giant octopus, my Fighting skill is d8 so I am going to roll 1d8 (skill) and 1d6 (wild die) against a target number 4.

I got a 4 and a 5, both dice succeed. However you can only count one result which is always the highest, so I got a 5 on the attack roll which is a success:

I'd then click the little bbcode link below the roll results which gives me the code I can copy/paste into my post:
