'''Throwing Power''' - The throwing power of a thrown weapon is the weapon's power modifier or the character's size - whichever is greater - plus 2 if the weapon is thrown as a quick attack (done as part of a combination of moves,) or + 5 if the weapon is thrown as a powerful attack (as a single concentrated attack for that round.)

;Quick Throwing: A character can throw a weapon with the power of a quick attack as a quick action. The maximum range of this attack is the character's reach multiplied by the sum of the character's throwing ability modifier and the difference between the character's grip and the weapon's heft. Add the reach of a sling or spear thrower to this range. A heavier weapon cannot be thrown as far as a light weapon. Unwieldy weapons cannot be thrown quicklyQuick throwing is useful when speed or precision is important, such as knife and hatchet-throwing competitions or throwing sand in an opponent's face.

'''Maximum Range''' - The maximum distance you can throw a weapon is the throwing power of the attack, multiplied by your natural reach, plus any reach added by a sling or spear thrower used to throw the weapon. The thrown weapon's reach modifier is not included.

'''Optional Ability-Based Extra Distance Rule''' - Add 10% of the maximum range times the character's throwing modifier. For example, if the character has a +3 throwing modifier increase the maximum range by 30%This reflects special types of strength, flexibility and coordination which contribute specifically to throwing ability.

;Powerful Throwing: A character can throw a weapon with the power of a powerful attack as a powerful action. The maximum range of this attack is twice the range of throwing the weapon quickly. Add the reach of a sling or spear thrower to this range. Unwieldy weapons cannot be thrown this wayPowerful throwing is useful when distance or damage is important, like throwing a javelin.

'''Slings and Spear Throwers''' - Slings and spear throwers add to your reach to determine maximum range. They usually also change the heft and attack power of the thrown weapon.

;Heave: Any object the character can lift can be thrown by heaving. Heaved objects are wildly imprecise, so the character has a -3 modifier to hit the target.  The maximum distance the character can heave an object is the sum of the character's reach and the weapon's reach modifier multiplied by the sum of the character's throwing ability modifier and the difference between the character's grip and the weapon's heft.

Thrown Weapons

Quick Throwing
A character can throw a weapon with the power of a quick attack as a quick action. The maximum range of this attack is the character's reach multiplied by the sum of the character's throwing ability modifier and the difference between the character's grip and the weapon's heft. Add the reach of a sling or spear thrower to this range. A heavier weapon cannot be thrown as far as a light weapon. Unwieldy weapons cannot be thrown quickly. Quick throwing is useful when speed or precision is important, such as knife and hatchet-throwing competitions or throwing sand in an opponent's face.
Powerful Throwing
A character can throw a weapon with the power of a powerful attack as a powerful action. The maximum range of this attack is twice the range of throwing the weapon quickly. Add the reach of a sling or spear thrower to this range. Unwieldy weapons cannot be thrown this way. Powerful throwing is useful when distance or damage is important, like throwing a javelin.
Heave
Any object the character can lift can be thrown by heaving.
