Victim turned victimiser, Marigold was an imperial enforcer while the empire still stood. Cruelly bound to the dragon Valthrax, she and her sword Ash-Tongue took countless lives in the emperor's name - most undeserving. And when the emperor was slain - when the empire toppled - she found herself alive and adrift. Lacking purpose in a world that saw her evil for what it was. Slowly, falteringly, she has begun trying to make amends: to carve out some kind of life for herself in this new and brighter world. But Mary's road is paved with many skulls and she dares not ask for a forgiveness she surely does not deserve.

==What Cannon Be Undone==

* I am most proud of how easily I have come to serve Galladia. I was worried I would find it hard to adapt to something so different.
* What causes me the most grief is how little what I did mattered. Every drop of blood I split was all for nought - I killed needlessly, and thoughtlessly, and caused harm for no cause worth fighting for.
