==The Principals==

Penumbra Securities is managed by five principals, whose profiles are detailed below. The principals are the primary groundside operatives; if additional groundsite support is required, it is subcontracted through other security organisations.

'''Profile''': A technical specialist and infiltrator from the Quarian Flotilla, Kane completed his Pilgrimage only to head back out into the unfriendly world outside of the fleet to continue his mercenary lifestyle. Kane isn't his actual name, but the full thing is a mouthful for non-Quarians and he prefers Kane to the other nicknames he's gained in the past.

'''Profile''': A former Cabal biotic in the Turian Hierarchy, Kirroe served as an operative under Nihlus, the Spectre who was murdered by Saren. She came to Penumbra shortly after its formation, bringing the ferocious combination of martial and biotic skills that she honed in the Hierarchy along with a sharp business mind and, apparently, startlingly attractive looks by Turian standards.

==Russell Ortiz==

'''Profile''': A former Systems Alliance officer, Russell hails from the Attican Traverse. A colony kid from a military family, he enlisted in 2176, serving in the 4th Frontier Division. He led a Marine Reconnaisance team during the operation on Torfan, coming out of that brutal conflict with a medal for valour and an officer's commission. After completing Officer Cadet School, he was invited to the N7 school passing the N1 course and was transferred to the 103rd Division. He received an honourable discharge in 2181 and has been working to build up Penumbra Securities since that time.

*On Kirroe: "Kirroe is an enigmatic collection of contradictions all bundled up together. In business she's this cool, savvy, sharp-minded executive. But in a fight she can be this hot-tempered, impulsive beserker who you wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of."

*On Kane: "He’s a bit of an enigma to me – now he’s here, now he isn’t.  When I see his fingers dance across the omni-tool, I’m so back with Nguye when we were still talking...  I do think he’s as talented as that.  Plus you wouldn’t believe the courage he’s shown, jumping out in front of the enemy to draw fire, and all in that life-preserving suit of his that he cannot risk getting a hole in.  Don’t know that I could do that.  I only wish I could see his face sometimes.  It’s hard making friends with someone who’s perpetually behind a visor... "
*On Kirroe: "After I first met Kirroe, I wanted to be a vanguard so bad.  I reckon I’ll never be as fast or as strong as her and you should see her charge.  But then my talents lie elsewhere... or that’s what they used to say at Grissom’s.  I was so happy to have her join us, finally another girl on the team and a pretty one, too!  As pretty as Turians come apparently.  Sharp as an omniblade in business and would you believe she had a real Spectre boyfriend...  I’ve seen it with my own eyes!"
*On Russell: "He’s tall and quiet and sort of easy to overlook.  Until you get into a hot zone with him and I do mean the sort where bullets are flying.  He’s deadly, disciplined and the best teamworker I can think of.  He has courage to share, that’s for sure...  Makes you wonder what happened to him back on Torfan that makes him look not quite right when he’s talking about it.  Like a piece of his heart was nicked, or something. *On Yghorl: "Two things you want to avoid.  Never get between Yghorl and his prey when he rushing at them head down yelling with battle-joy.  And never make funny jokes about him in my hearing if you want to stay my friend.  Yghorl is a good one, big in a fight, quick thinker with his medical skills, plus he slings eezo.  If you’re looking for a medic it’d be Yghorl you want, except you can’t have him because he’s with us already.  "

'''Profile''': A krogan biotic and medical specialist from Clan Raik, Yghorl (pronounced 'Yorl') has served in several mercenary companies over the decades including a stint as a hostage situation specialist. Despite his intimidating appearance, Yghorl is a skilled doctor and a fearless fighter who once helped foil a plot to kill the Asari Councillor, winning him a medal and contacts with an asari financial company from the grateful Councillor that have been key to getting Penumbra up and running.
