How Things Begin

It is around UC 97.

A Earth Federation Far System Militia Ship, 'The Sloop John B' is on it way to the 'Big Eye Station'. They are few hours out when then get a distress call. "...ayday, mayday, we've s.... ..assive structural damage. We are ........ atmosphere. Unknown attackers and ......... This is Big Eye Station to any...... mayday, we are in need of assistance. We were attacked by...... We need help..... civilian population..... Mayday, mayday, this is the Big Eye Station and we need immeidate......"

On approach they see that parts of the Big Eye Station have been opened to space, and a ship it trying to tow it out of orbit, an attempt to send it crashing into Saturn.

Big Eye Station

Big Eye station was a project started by the Principality of Zeon over thirty years prior, and it control a series of vast space telescopes (The Big Eye Telescopes) out in Pluto's orbit. During the war support for it fell away and only recently has the Earth Federation decided to bring the project back online.

Big Eye station is a chunck of nickle iron rock, two kilometers along its longest axis, eight hundred meters deep at its thickest.

It was pulled out of the belt years ago and dragged to its current orbit. It has a ring that rotates for gravity, the ring itself is housed three quarters within the rock with only a loop passing into open space.

It has a population of 843, mostly scientists and techs.

It rents space to a number of small companies and research firms, usually ones that want the security that being so far out offers.

The Sloop John B

A modified Columbus Class Supply ship, used by the Outer System Militia, an Earth Federation Supported para-military force. Currently the John B is ferrying supplies out to 'Big Eye' station which is a asteroid station in Saturn's orbit.

The Mobile Suits

The Sloop John B carries a pair of RGM-86R GM III. The Big Eye Station has a few construction suits and a single RX-75-4 Guntank. The Enemy on the station have deployed a pair of Guncannons

Bio

History

Quru is an artificial newtype, part of the "QR series" which was planned as the successor to the PR (Puru) series. After the defeat of Neo Zeon, the lab went underground. Six months ago, a gang broke into that they thought was an abandoned building looking for salvage, and discovered her. She ended up joining them, her combat and piloting skills making her a valued member.

Perhaps the Federation considers artificial newtypes (especially rogue ones) a threat, and wants to capture or eliminate me.
