Glittering-Thought-Which-Reaches-Beyond-the-Grasp-of-Its-Wings was a member of the Silver Volants, a Pteradactyl-like race of little renown other than the ability of some of their members to access the memories of past lives. Although a novice, Glittering-Thought was enlightened one day and realized he was the reincarnation of Minrue, a strategist and leader of the fabled race of Argi. Little was known about the Argi in his day. The Chronicles of Saint Xavata mentioned them as monsters. The apocryphal and heretical Account of Ervel the Scribe briefly mentions them as well. Many scholars have also confused the Argi with the Jeweled Children over the ages, believing them both to be the same race or different tribes of one race.
Glittering-Thought wass overwhelmed by the memories and intricate wisdom of this ancestor and is doubly confounded that Minrue considered himself a rather mediocre student of Argi thought. Glittering-Thought quit his monastery and traveled the world with a new mission: he would seek out other reincarnated Argi souls and together they would resurrect Argi civilization. Though the reborn Argi were of different races, they would be united once again in the quest to recover their lost ancient wisdom.
