Editing Midnight Character Creation

==Character Creation Basic REQUIREMENTS==
*  Use the D&D 3.5 Player Handbook for basics
**  Choose your Race, Class, and Heroic Path.
**  Build your Ability Scores (points below), choose your feats, and spend your skill points.

==How to build your ABILITY SCORES==

==BONUS LANGUAGES==
Your hero will get to levels of Languages for FREE to begin the game.  If your hero already gets levels of these languages you should upgrade that language, if possible,  or if it is already at "Fluent" you may ask to have a different language choice for free.  I will need to approve your choice.  Your hero gets:
*  Erenlander (1) -  that's one level, aka. Pidgin.
*  Orc (1) -  that's one level, aka. Pidgin.



==How to deal with Starting EQUIPEMENT==
Starting equipment and "Value Points" in Midnight are very different than standard D&D 3.5.  In-game we will use the Value Point and Bartering System.  However, to begin the game you will start with the following, that replaces the standard Midnight begining equipment system...

===Starting VPs===
Your hero will have some Value Points available to him/her (the money in pocket so to speak)
*  '''(Roll 1d4)x10 =  VPs in pocket'''.  You should translate value into items for trade - i.e. furs, food, etc...

===Starting Equipment===
Rather than "buying" your equipment I prefer that you create a list of things YOU believe your character SHOULD have.  Be realistic in-line with your character background and situation.  If your hero SHOULD have a horse, he/she does...  You just need to make sure it makes sense to your concept and background.
*  '''Create an Equipemnt List'''.  Please do so on a seperate sheet from your character sheet.  I will then have the option of deleting anything that I feel can't work with the opening story/location/scene.

===Starting Weapons & Armor===
Same as above with Equiment.  You may choose whatever is appropriate.  This CANNOT be magical items - covenant items or charms.  If you have weapons or armor please also describe how and where you got these iteams - whether you made them, traded for them or they were handed down from family.
