** ['''A''']:  Heheh... nice "devious" thinking...  Are you sure you're not the silver tongued Sarcosan?  A thought for you guys.  It might be an interesting thing to get Adam involved in Bluebooking by planning/plotting (here) to go to him and manipulate him into doing all THIS stuff for you.  Not only knowing that he has contacts and skill in this area, but also simply to protect yourselves from political retribution should the deal go sour.  It's neat how these Bluebooking articles are totally unknown to the other's not in them!  Use that!  :)  <br>  PS... you're also welcome to have side conversations with any of the NPCs if you like.

'''Durgaz:''' "Wait. Your friend Diero did 'much of his studying with Vrolk?' How did you fail to mention ''that'' before?

"Is there anything else about Diero that you forgot to mention? Something that might explain why we found him at Walden's house, barely hours after Walden was captured and, apparently, taken directly to his old teacher? What was your friend doing there, Kyuad? Was he looking for Walden? Who sent him ... Vrolk? Sunulael?

"And why, of all things, do you insist on believing that there's any way at all that this Diero can be trusted? He appears to be playing a key role in a major power struggle between two Night Kings. Do you really think he could be trusted to risk all that ... his career, his life ... for you? For any of us? Even if there ''weren't'' strong evidence that he played a part in Walden's capture, I wouldn't trust this legate as far as you could throw him. You are not a fool, Kyuad. Why in the hell do ''you'' trust him so much?"

'''QUESTIONS/Thoughts and Notes - Asked & Answered'''

*  [DURGAZ]  '''Your friend Diero did 'much of his studying with Vrolk?' How did you fail to mention ''that'' before?'''

** ['''A''']:  To be fair to Bill, I just noted some of that this past game session.  I *thought* Diero had mentioned it to Kyuad before when he talked about his time studying in the Aruun Jungles.  Truth be told Kyuad knows little about it, other than that.

*  [DURGAZ]  '''What was your friend doing there, Kyuad? Was he looking for Walden? Who sent him ... Vrolk? Sunulael?'''

** ['''A''']:  GOOD questions...  :)

*  [DURGAZ]  '''You are not a fool, Kyuad. Why in the hell do ''you'' trust him so much?'''

** ['''A''']:  an out-of-game, altruistic answer...  you gotta trust someone sometime just to find out, that's what trust is afterall.  A game of chance.  With possible big payoffs or loses.  ;)

'''Kyuad:''' "Diero did not seem altogether savvy of the nature of ShadowWall when he spoke to me there.  If anything, his manner seemed to be perturbed that such a beautiful house still existed so close to Cambrial.  He mentioned nothing of Walden when he was there, and seemed to believe me to be the owner of the house until I told him otherwise.  I still believe that his path simply took him close to the tree.  My assumption is that Caffel knew this was a possibility, and this was the reason that she asked me to seek you out.  Though, it could be any number of reasons, I don't quite understand her purposes sometimes.  She simply sends me where her visions tell her I should be."

Kyuad seems to contemplate something for a moment, then continues, "That is something I should probably explain.  One of the reasons I allowed the legate to live is that it was the only logical purpose for my being there.  Caffel knew that you would be able to help me, but she could have sent me after you a day later and I would have never met Diero.  Had I not been there, he most likely would have been killed by the rest of you.  My childhood friendship with him is the only reason any of us would have had to allow him to live, and therefore, it is the most likely reason I would be put into such a position.  My conclusion was that Diero will serve a purpose to us in the future somehow, based not on who I think the man is, but on my utmost trust in the wisdom of my teacher, Caffel.

"Trust him, I do not.  I trust however, that we ''will'' have need for him in the future.

"Then again, he might have been looking for Sir Walden and didn't want to let on, I don't know.  I'm only doing the best I can."
