Kyuad / Bill

  • During a time after dark when the three are awake, Kyuad will get Durgaz and Eranon alone with him for a short time in order to discuss something.

Kyuad: "While on a scouting trip, Nisse spotted Diero Possiogn, my erstwhile friend and the legate that owes me his life. He was among the legates leading the army toward Vrolk's 'Spire. It is fitting, since Diero did much of his studying with Vrolk. Given that those legates are leading drugged orc captives of Jazzir's army, I doubt that Jazir's old cedeku would have as much weight with Diero for the purposes of currying favor with the night king. But from what we know of this Dance of Ruin, and the likely ties to Vrolk, perhaps it could be a valuable tool for someone willing to employ demons in order to destroy or injure a night king.

"I wonder if perhaps the Sarcosan's loudmouthed blundering wasn't such a bad idea. If Diero is willing to so blantantly stand against Jazir, maybe Vrolk's loyalties extend no further than Sunulael. With a legate contact - who will be in the area shortly - who could be convinced to do us a favor, maybe we could insinuate ourselves into the trust of Vrolk himself. We would be in a better position to save the serpent sister and Walden, and then ensure that the Shadow does not keep control of the Cadaverous Eye. If Vrolk is the one behind the Dance of Ruin that resulted in a Valendil clone, a personal item once owned by Jazir could be used by him in the same manner.

"Once Vrolk and Sunulael move against Jazir, we could make our move against the Priest of Shadow, using his 'Eye and whatever other tools we might be able to acquire from Vrolk."
