:Kit Black was orphaned at a young age by a Road Hogs attack and was found hiding under a basket by the State Troopers a day or so later as they took care of the straggling bandits.  She was taken in by one of the officers, a German Shepard named Lucifer Hammer.  He was fond of collecting strays, as he called it and had a half-dozen orphans at his homestead, bringing in new ones as the older ones left home, most joining the patrol in one capacity or another.  Not long after taking Kit in, he lost a leg above the knee in the line of duty and retired.  What bit off his leg?  “Something big!”

:He started to train his “pack” as he called the orphans, in the art of ninjitsu, just as he was trained by an elderly master when he was a pup.  Armed and unarmed combat, stealth and infiltration, acrobatics, gun combat and driving...  She wanted nothing more than to follow in her foster father's footsteps (“It's easier now that I just have one!”) and excelled in the lessons.  

:Kit is now a seasoned veteran, with three years as a Trooper under her belt (Next to the throwing spikes).  Her cheerful and joking nature (Which she also learned from her father) gets her put on all sorts of distant patrols, as the station captain can only take small doses of her.  Plus she always comes back from them, though not all her partners do, some people consider her bad luck.  That might be why the captain sends so many oddballs he doesn't know what to do with her way.  Her remarkably chipper demeanor is at odds with how deadly she can be when things get serious.  She moves like a shadow and strikes as fast and hard as lightning.

:Kit is an uplifted cat, 5'4” tall, lean and fit with short, solid black fur from head to toe and striking yellow eyes.  Black is her favorite color and she dresses in nothing but.  A black tank top and cargo shorts, with a black weapon harness.  A large black scarf sits around her neck and shoulders, ready to be pulled up in case of dust and there's a pair of black-tinted goggles resting on her forehead.  Even the sword on her back has a blackened blade and she paints her claws that color too.  Her favorite food is cheeseburgers.
