Background
Alena was born in Utah, but with promise of work her parents moved to the outskirts of Firdale when she was young. When her sister was born, her father took off, citing a good opportunity in California. With the exceptions of some money wired the first month, that was the last time her family heard of him. With her mother struggling to keep the family afloat, Alena and her sister were mostly raised by her 'great uncle' Cole, who had a fairly relaxed "let them figure it out" way of parenting, resulting in plenty of bruises, a couple of broken bones, burned hair and all to close encouters with wildlife already at an early stage.
Alena never fit in school, and lashed out physically against her tormentors quickly giving her a reputation as unstable. It finally escalated and she was expelled from high-school due to a zero-tolerence policy. Since then she has worked various minimum wage jobs, at resturants, gas stations and stores, but her temper rarely keeps her employed for long.
She has not undergone her first change yet.
Description: Alena is quite tall and with a lithe build and look to be in her early twenties. Her thick black hair that is typically kept in a strict braid. Her face is typically in what many interpret as a half-scowl, especially with that nose of hers that has been broken and not quite healed straight and that her dark eyes instinctively follows movement. She dresses in plain earthly clothes, often heavily worn from use, but well suited for being outdoors. She is stubborn as few, but once someone gets past her harsh demeanor they will find a friend who will do anything for them.
