Motivation: Jon and Aleena were very different clerics of Sil: she was brave and vibrant where he was shy and reserved. She was a common sight in the Temple of Healing where Jon ministers to the sick, and he grew to love her deeply, though he was too shy to tell her. Finally he worked up his courage, and swore he'd tell her his feelings when she returned from her latest mission - but she never did. Bargle saw to that. His kind heart filled with bitter hate, Jon demanded that he be sent to strike down the villain that stole his love and, surprisingly, he was granted permission. Now the gentle cleric must join a motley band of adventurers if he's going to exact his revenge and KILL BARGLE!

Xia is a young woman, out on her Journey--a tradition among her people, a time to wander the world and return with stories and wisdom. Xia intends to return with stories of how she won glory by facing great challenges without flinching away in fear.

Aleena was one who welcomed her to this area. While Xia found Aleena's talk of gods somewhat silly, they became friends. She liked to listen to Aleena, and she appreciated that the cleric made her feel respected. She has sworn that Bargle will pay for his crime.

Motivation: Threshhold's a big town and there's room for more than one kind of thief, but there's no room for a man who won't follow the Brotherhood's rules, and one of the most important rules is "Don't bother the Gods". When Bargle killed Aleena, it brought down the Watch on every thief in Threshhold, and Pox's own brother got clapped in irons. Moreover, Shifter, the secret god of thieves, made it known that this deed displeased Him, and that he would withhold his blessing from every heist and burglary in the city until this crime was avenged. Hence, Pox was deputized to help take Bargle down. If he succeeds, he gets his brother back and the Shifty Brotherhood will accept him as a full initiate. If he doesn't, best stay in the dungeon.

Castor

Player: Dorsai

Class: Fighter

Race: Human (reroll damage once per battle)

Look: Dead eyes, Battered helm, scarred skin, ravaged body

Stats

  • STR: 16 (+2)
  • DEX: 15 (+1)
  • CON: 12 (0)
  • INT: 9 (0)
  • WIS: 13 (+1)
  • CHA: 8 (-1)
  • HP: 22

Starting Moves:

  • Bend Bars, Lift Gates
  • Armored
  • Signature Weapon-Axe, close range, Sharp (+2 piercing), Well crafted (-1 weight)
  • Alignment: Neutral

Gear (Load 28):

  • Scale Armor (2 Armor, 3 Weight)
  • Shield (1 Armor, 2 Weight)
  • Rations (5 uses, 1 Weight)
  • 22 Coins

Castor was a mighty warrior in his younger days. He is old now, working as a stable hand, a job he feels is demeaning. He has contracted a wasting disease that robs him of a little of his strength every day, and he has decided that he will put on his armor and take up his axe one last time, and hopefully end his life with the honor and glory of a soldier rather than in humiliation as a sick, feeble old man. He is going out to die.

(He hasn't fought in over a decade, which is why he has the abilities of a Level 1 Fighter-he's more than a bit rusty)
