Posting Protocol

Dice Rolls: When action or clues take place, state directly in character what your character is doing. I'll make rolls as the DM behind the screen. There will be tons of rolls made, so I won't bother linking dice roller results. If you want to preemptively roll a first attack roll or make a saving throw knowing that one is coming up, feel free to do so. But generally, I'll be handling rolls. Rolls to hide or find traps or open doors are secret, so the GM handles those.

Post format. Post your in-character actions with your character's name, alignment, and class at the top in boldface, like Admodeus Grim, N Fighter. IC text should be in third person narrative voice, and answer as clearly as possible what, where, and how your character takes action. Use the spoiler block to clarify, and as much as possible try to give enough if/then info that I can handle more than one round of action ("My character will do this unless he takes more than 4 damage or faces more than one opponent..."). Anything requiring longer description or more back-and-forth should be placed in the OOC thread.

Time Tracking/Notes

Here, I'll record progress in terms of time for the purpose of tracking resources and making wandering monster checks. We begin in the springtime and begin in the town of Kelven.

The characters meet Stephan of the Sukiskyn clan, horse tamers, offering a job fo escort their prized horses from their clan steadying east of Kelven to the auction block west to Rifllian; Stephan has arranged transport aboard Kalanos's river boat in one week's time up the Volaga river. post
