Surrounding the palace are a few homes of noble families, but the bulk of the village is composed of small huts and farms that cover the land for miles in every direction.
The smaller building that is attached to the palace is a former Buddhist temple that has been converted into a training dojo. It is mostly an open space with several designated fighting rings, weapons, and training devices that hone the abilities of aspiring ninja.
