Octobot wakes up from its sleep, utterly reprogrammed. It seems bewildered that it was not deactivated, not due to its now-removed paranoia but seemingly because it realizes what it once did. It throws itself into work in the mechanical workshop (revealing that the ends of its tentacles do in fact contain an array of tools), avoiding the command center and the chemical laboratory in the beginning. It doesn't speak, rather projecting red-tinted holograms from its single "eye", but it appears to understand speech very well. If allowed, it oversees the reconstruction of a satisfactory amount of spiderbots, which it seems to consider to be enough to supply every room in the complex with a small horde of the things. Besides that, thanks to Kaius' infusion of curiosity, it tinkers with new robot designs, particularly one based on Matyas' dragon form. Overall, it's gained a desire for new experiences and often displays holograms of the island, as if it wants to explore it.
