A young and rash master swordsman, Oderic was judged in 2946 to be guilty of killing Rathfic. However, the Company convinced Beorn that Oderic deserved mercy. Consequently, the young man now serves as a ranger for the Bear Lord near the new settlement at The Old Ford.
