MulbaMewl

GAZE UPON TRUE INSANITY!

Eldritch critter type.

Aspects

  • Squamous
  • Sticky

Weakness

  • Non-Euclidean

Attributes

  • Power 8
  • Speed 4
  • Hitpoints 8

Attacks

  • Injure - Tentacle whip (sticky) 3
  • Dodge - Corpulent shamble (squamous) 1
  • Trap - Sticky cuddle (sticky) 1
  • Frighten - Blast of the Elder sign (squamous) 4

Pokenomicon Excerpt

Mulbamewl is an unfortunate byproduct of poorly designed summoning circles and incantations gone awry. There is a chance that the dyslexic or careless summoner will have a MulbaMewl plop in his/her lap, pulled wide-eyed and mewling from the nether.

Collageen

The seal formed by collageen's lips is powerful enough that this thulhu can be used as a sink plunger.

Plump lips type.

Aspects

  • Fishy
  • Sticky

Weakness

  • Luminescent

Attacks

  • Injure - Fishy slap (fishy)
  • Dodge - Slippery slime (fishy)
  • Trap - Vomit mucus (sticky)
  • Frighten - Pout (fishy)

Pokenomicon Excerpt

Collageen's soft squishy lips mean that it has trouble cracking bones to get at the tasty bone marrow. Instead it pouts at nearby wild thulhu to try and get them to do it.

Dark priest maple believes Collageen to be a form of Dagong genetically altered by the legendary Dr Harold Westermore. Our heroes prove him right in episode #97 "Cherry lips and golden pearls"

Lickollageen

When fully extended, Lickollageen's tongue is over three meters long.

Plump lips type.

Devolves from collageen

Aspects

  • Fishy
  • Sticky

Weakness

  • Luminescent

Attacks

  • Injure - Tongue lashing (sticky)
  • Dodge - Glistening slime (fishy)
  • Trap - Hypnotic jiggle (sticky)
  • Frighten - Distressing jiggle (sticky)

Pokenomicon Excerpt

Lickollageen is a reluctant battler, preferring to pose and pluck insects out of the air with its long sticky tongue.

Dr Harold Westermore artificially devolved his Collageen to be a jigglier lab assistant in the opening sequence of the second Pokethulhu movie "Bride of machostein".

Formalhoot

Formalhoot is dangerously radiactive. This should be of great concern to anyone with an ounce of sanity.

Incendiary bird type.

Aspects

  • Luminescent
  • Non-euclidean

Weakness

  • Sticky

Attacks

  • Injure - Burning nuclear gaze (luminescent)
  • Dodge - Flutter like fallout (luminescent)
  • Trap - Ring of fire (luminescent)
  • Frighten - Burning truth (non-euclidean)

Pokenomicon Excerpt

This thulhu was the centre of attention in epsiode #49 "A distant star is born".

Grimapolyp

Grimapolyp mushroom spores are a mild anaesthetic.

Blissfully ignorant type.

Aspects

  • Fungous
  • Non-euclidean

Weakness

  • Icy

Attacks

  • Injure - Pseudopod (non-euclidean)
  • Dodge - Not being there (non-euclidean)
  • Trap - Affectionate clinging (non-euclidean)
  • Frighten - Bad smell (fungous)

Pokenomicon Excerpt

Trainers will go almost any lengths to stop their Grimapolyp devolving because it's just so darn cute in its original state. Fortunatly this is easily accomplished keeping it away from mirrors. Grimapolyp are popular household pets as they can be trained to live off of rotting beech wood instead of human bone marrow.

Grimapolyp is entirely unaware of the mushrooms growing on its head and will become violent if the point is pressed, as Team Eibon discovered in the first OAV series.

Mulchoth

Mulchoth's mushrooms have absolutely no interesting properties whatsoever.

Aware-of-mushrooms-on-head type.

Devolves from Grimapolyp.

Aspects

  • Fungous
  • Non-euclidean

Weakness

  • Icy

Attacks

  • Injure - Many pseudopods (non-euclidean)
  • Dodge - Trying to shake the mushrooms off (fungous)
  • Trap - Sitting on (non-euclidean)
  • Frighten - Brain-shattering stench (fungous)

Pokenomicon Excerpt

If Grimapolyp ever sees its reflection and sees the mushrooms on its head it panics and devolves into the larger Mulchoth. Mulchoth make poor battling 'thulhu since they're concerned with getting rid of their mushrooms to the exclusion of all else.

Randy, Sonia and Titus tried to help a Mulchoth in its quest in episode #30 "My heart can't go on" before the overpowerring smell caused them to pass out.

Gugosaur

Wild Gugosaurs seldom kill their prey, they're happy with taking just a limb or two.

Vertical-mouthed-dinosaur type.

Aspects

  • Very squamous
  • Decomposing

Weakness

  • Non-euclidean

Attacks

  • Injure - Limb severring bite (squamous)
  • Dodge - Armoured head (squamous)
  • Trap - Earthquake stomp (squamous)
  • Frighten - Primeval screech (decomposing)

Pokenomicon Excerpt

Gugsaur is a textbook example of a squamous thulhu and in fact is so very squamous that some trainers forget that it is also decomposing.

In episode #68 "madness under the mountains" our herous discovered that just because all the Gugosaurs are dead doesn't mean they're extinct! Just before the closing credits Titus caught one with a deftly thrown shining dodecahedron and since then Gugosaur has been a fan favourite for the adorable way it tries to sever its trainer's limbs.

Necrokarp

Necrokarp make poor house pets because they shed very small bones all over the place

Rotten fish type.

Aspects

  • Decomposing
  • Fishy

Weakness

  • Squamous

Attacks

  • Injure - Soul burning Sigh (Decomposing)
  • Dodge - Rot and bear it (Decomposing)
  • Trap - Feeble Splashing (Fishy)
  • Frighten - Airless Gasps (Fishy)

Pokenomicon Excerpt:

The less monsterous form of Sy'Thuradyos, Necrokarps are common wherever the remains of fish are left to rot. They first appeared in episode #32 "Going off the deep end", when Randy was traded one by old Mr. Zadok of Waite's point. He kept it with him for then next three episodes, until it finally devolved into a Sy'Thuradyos in episode #35 and left Randy to join others of it's kind in the Shudde Mall.

Shantaken

Flaming Chicken type.

Aspects

  • Luminescent
  • Squamous

Weakness

  • Decomposing

Attacks

  • Injure - Flaming Kick (Luminescent)
  • Dodge - Elephantine Wings (Squamous)
  • Trap - Smokey Breath (Lumiescent)
  • Frighten - Thunderous Bellow (Squamous)

Pokenomicon Excerpt:

A veritable behemoth of a Pokethulhu, the Shantaken never appeared in the Pokethulhu Series. However, it did appear in a chapter of the #13th Pokethulhu Manga (In Leng's Dark Shadow), where Randy and Sonia are chased by a flock of them, until Titus returns with a legion of Decomposing Pokethulhu to scare them off.

Resembling collossal scaled birds with the heads of horses, and flaming wings, they are easy to spot in the night, however, while easy to spot and run from, Shantaken are feared because of their endurance. When hunting someone, whether Cultist or 'thulhu, Shantaken have been known to fly for months without rest or food.

Hitmontotec

Flayed Fighter type.

Aspects

  • Decomposing
  • Non-Euclidian

Weakness

  • Fungous

Attacks

  • Injure - Muscle-Punch (Decomposing)
  • Dodge - Lament Contortionism (Non-Euclidian)
  • Trap - Skinning Gaze (Decomposing)
  • Frighten - Unblinking Stare (Decomposing)

Pokenomicon Excerpt:

First appearing in the shadows in episode #354 "I've been shrieking on the railroad", Hitmontotec is a major foe of Team Eibon for the next few episodes. (At this point in the series, Team Eibon were on the Eastern Continent on buisness, giving Randy and the others a holiday).

A Fierce and cunning foe, Hitmontotec had many trainers working for it instead of the other way around. It resembled a skinned figure, with bandaged hands and feet. Team Eibon eventually banished it back to it's home dimension using the Sedefkarwizt doll, but it vowed to return.
