A natural leader, you’re able to rally your allies. His family was displaced from its rural homestead by Reclaim's ever-expanding exploitation of the Northern Fallout Zone, forcing Lauri into the workforce at age 18. He worked two finger-and-mind-numbing years on a floating fish processing vessel, until it caught fire during a storm. A nearby corp vessel refused to respond to the sinking factory ship's distress signals, leaving dozens to freeze to death in rising seas before rescue arrived. This incident sealed Lauri's hatred for the multinationals and set him on a course for a life on the margins of international law.
-After recovering from his injuries, Lauri parlayed his immense size and considerable anger into work as muscle for a smuggling ring. From smuggling, it was a short jump to piracy. As long as the target is corporate, in Lauri's mind, he's privateering on behalf of the exploited masses.
