Player Creativity

• In a game of D&D, the PCs had found a gorgon's lair and were trying to decide what to do next when the beast itself discovered their presence. Not feeling confident enough to stand and fight, they ran for the mouth of the cave. Once out, the cleric turned around, waited until the gorgon was right at the entrance, and cast Stone Shape to constrict the passage and close around the gorgon's neck, holding it in place and giving room for people to move around it safely.
