Fujiwara Kyouko, cousin of Fujiwara Rin, is an odd girl by any description, she's immature in actions and size, and always refers to herself in the third person. Kyouko

Truth be told the Fujiwara family would have happily hid the odd girl away, they certainly did not think her ninja material, until they discovered that she made all their information gathering pale in comparison if she was anywhere near a computer with an internet connection.

She also had a sharp tactical mind, and if one was willing to listen to, "Kyouko thinks you should hop like a bunny to your right!" she often put together very successful plans. More than one family member has been embarrassed by being beaten at chess by a girl hugging her stuffed toy.

She's smart and brave and likes people, though she is happy to be on her own with some sufficiently interesting piece of tech.

She likes her cousin, seemingly blind to Rin's behavior, and Rin treats her little better than a lackey, only family ties keeping her behavior from growing truly abusive.

Kyouko wants to help her family, and the other ninjas, and tries her best to use her skills for the benefit of all.


So, looking over Kyouko's character sheet, M&M version, I can see two major thrusts to her capabilities-- Overall ninja training and machine control. Let's see what we can do with those.

Powerset: Ninja Training (Enhanced Agility d8, Enhanced Senses d8, Enhanced Stamina d8)

Powerset: One With Machines (Machine Control d10, Database Mastery d10, Gadgets d8)

A fairly straightforward set, but we need SFX to make them shine-- four total would do nicely here.

Ninja Training can be tricky, but looking over Kyouko's skills, one thing that stands out is her tactical ability, and another is her ability to rely on pure cuteness to baffle foes, so let's work with those.

SFX: Master Plan (Add a d6 to the pool and Step Up the Effect Die when creating a Master Plan asset.) This lets you create a Master Plan that everyone can draw on as an asset to give them a bonus in all the rolls that they make.

SFX: Kawaii! (Add a d6 to the pool and Step Up the Effect Die when creating a Confused by Cuteness complication) This will let Kyouko use her sheer cuteness to baffle a foe and make them vulnerable.

One With Machines needs a couple of SFX, too. (Also, you could change Master Plan into a machine-asset-creating one without changing anything but the name, but having more than one Asset-boosting SFX is a waste.)

SFX: Make It Happen (Spend 1 PP to reroll an entire die pool containing a One With Machines die) Just the thing for making sure that you don't fail when you really need to.

SFX: The Right Tool For The Job (Spend 1 PP to borrow a die from the Doom Pool for a roll, then step it down and return it to the pool) This lets you use the near-omnipresence of data networks and electronics in the modern world to get whatever you need, making whatever the present crisis is a bit less dangerous.

You'll need Limits, too. These are trickier, because the book has a lot fewer of them, and many of them are very specific, like Gear. Two handy ones are Exhaustion, which Sumie has for her family martial arts training, and Conscious Activation, which makes your powers shut off if you're asleep, unconscious, or stressed out. (Other options include things like your powers going out of control, which doesn't seem to fit how Kyouko works.)

Finally, you'll want Specialties. These skill-equivalents are fairly straightforward for Kyouko, looking at her M&M Skills list; I'd go with Combat Expert d8, Psych Expert d8, Covert Expert d8, Tech Master d10, and Science Master d10.
