Ships Parts:

  1. Containment regulator: The one we have is wearing out. When it goes, there’s no way we can keep the containment field up at full strength, nor adjust it as needed up or down depending on fluctuations.
  2. Turbo charger: it would be nice to be able to do a little hard burn every once in a while. But that would mean having to beef up other systems to handle the load while under full burn.
  3. Vent filters: to trap any dust and allergens in the atmo vents. Or bees.
  4. Remote engine starter: for when we need to bug the hell out in a hurry.
  5. Sensor package upgrade
  6. Outer surveillance cameras: so we can see what’s out there without plastering our noses to the windows.
  7. Comms package upgrade, including a way to secure our channels and extend our range.
  8. A shuttle bay for the shuttle. If only to decrease the drag on the ship whilst docked topside of our hull. Also, a bay would go far in protecting the paint job on the family car.

Equipment list:

  1. Headcomms and throatmikes, if only for the hands-free comms it gives us.
  2. Vac suits enough for everybody on the crew and a few extra for passengers or parts.
  3. Mag grapples

An onboard machine shop (maybe based in the midships containers belowdecks):

  1. English Wheel
  2. Machinist's Lathe
  3. Chip Foundry
  4. Drill Press
  5. Small electric forge
  6. Anvil
  7. Hand tools for anvil work
  8. Arc Welding equipment
  9. Flux and Rods
  10. Oxy-Acetylene Welding equipment
  11. Grinding wheel, both hand-held and mounted

Wish List:

  1. An honest-to-God banya would be nice. We’ve got the beginnings of one with Potemkin’s bathtub.
  2. Walk-in freezer to store meat and frozen produce. Surely there must be a moon or a world somewhere we can buy it cheaper in bulk. If only we had a place to store it.
  3. A samovar. A ship isn’t a home til you have one.
  4. Oh, and a pony.
