Valeria von Koshi, a glamourous noblewoman who enjoys the finest of fashions and does seem to be very good at thinking out of the box when it comes to matters of trade (and crime).
In fact she is actually Val Kosh, an underhive crimelord with a hell of a bounty on her head. She spotted a job opening with a rogue trader and faked some credentials both as a noblewoman and a seneschal as a means of escaping her homeworld and the authorities who are after her. She is keen to lay low and figures that the best way to do that is to stick with her current job and try to avoid detection by doing a good job of it (well as best she can).
She has contacts and allies spread across the sector, mostly in the more dubious locations. These could prove useful.
The authorities (and assorted others) who would very much like to find her alive or dead include:
- The Adeptus Arbites (for running a sector-wide criminal enterprise).
- The Inquisition (for numerous heretical activities involving running xenotech and heretical artifacts/tomes/lore across the sector)
- Loquacious Vine, a rival crime lord who wants her business.
- Fortuna Kosh, her daughter, who wants to inherit her business by disposing of her mother.
- The Stanton Steel Blades, a renowned mercenary company whom she didn't pay when promised.

Val Kosh is a tall gaunt woman with a wave of flaming red hair. Her typical pale underhive skin is covered in gang tattoos, along with scars and battle wounds from countless gunfights with other gangs and the authorities. For clothing, she normally favours black leathers and loads of hidden weapons. However, in the guise of Valeria van Koshi, she has swapped her leathers for outrageously frilly gowns and big beehive wigs. She's still adorned with hidden weaponry though...
