[01:09:53] * Thelaos looks at Alyssa, "his army will not be able to keep up with us. Even if we move on foot, we're faster. Moving that many soldiers is a slow process. And whil the Bull and his sorceress ally may be able to travel as quickly as they'd like, I doubt he will leave his hordes behind." [01:10:30] * Silk grins coldly. "And if he does, he risks someone coming during the night and poisoning them all." [01:10:46] Alyssa: "Alright, I see what you mean. I do think that talking to him would be worthwhile. There's a decent chance he knows of us anyway, so we're hardly giving up surprise." [01:10:49] Silk: "Or wreak some similar mischief upon them while he is away." [01:12:23] * Silk nods. "It also gives us a chance to assess his forces, Exalted and otherwise." [01:12:27] Thelaos: "Alternately, we could make for Nexus and investigate the city for any sign of more information about what exactly we're looking for and what happened to your predecessors." [01:12:33] Alyssa: "It would probably be fairly easy to write him a letter." [01:13:29] Thelaos: "As for the ruins of Meru and this 'Sperimin'... I do not know how we can approach them." [01:14:00] * Alyssa smirks. "I believe I recall a way to get to Meru." [01:14:02] Silk: "Reaching Meru is not so much the problem as are the dangers of the ruins themselves." [01:15:10] Silk: "Sperimin from what you said seems to be the most dangerous of all the places, so that might have to wait. But Nexus is obvious enough, although a rather big haystack to find our needle ..." [01:18:07] Silk: "A letter might not be the best way to communicate with the Bull, I would think. A parley at a more or less neutral location on the other hand ..." [01:18:36] Silk: "I could investigate his army ahead of time, so that we would know the size of his forces." [01:18:49] Alyssa: "A letter to suggest a neutral parley. Unless you plan to walk right into his camp to invite hi... right. Forgot who I was talking to." [01:19:45] Thelaos: "Even if he does agree to such a meeting, he can't be trusted to follow any agreements. He's already tried to destroy Son through trickery." [01:21:29] * Silk nods. "He might try to attack during the meeting. But to do that he needs to either bring additional forces with him, which we would likely see in advance, or he would have to be sure that he can defeat us." [01:21:55] Silk: "And he cannot be sure of that. His agents never made it back to him to report our strength."
