**Some of the moons could be habitable.

**A couple might have had stations at one point, but there's no indication of recent activity.

***One is a on a very small moon, little more than an asteroid caught in orbit, of the furthest gas giant of the sector. The outpost appears to be fairly small, even on the asteroid. It emits something constantly, but you haven't recognized it or deciphered it yet, and it's quite weak. There's no sign of life on it.

***The other station is on the gas giant closest to the star. It's a little over a quarter of its orbit out of sync, currently, with the first (closer) station you observed though easy enough to get to inside the system with a day or two of travel. It's a large moon and initial scans suggests construction on all sides of the moon, so perhaps a large outpost. There's a lot of static interference from there, and it keeps shifting randomly but across a wide spectrum. However, that does show no signs of life, and a fair amount of orbital debris locked into the moon's gravitational pull. The gas giant is massive, so likely anything not close gets dragged into it and destroyed over time. Additionally, the gas giant itself has a very strong, eccentric magnetic field that flairs and shifts messing with any attempts at scans, views, or similar.

** Scanning confirms that the atmosphere is thick, toxic, and corrosive. It most likely would only be safe for hours in a vac-suit. There are a number of cities, it appears, but all underground.

** The planet has a couple of stations in orbit and numerous artificial satellites, but nothing more than shuttles otherwise.
