The current iteration of the ship's quantum slipstream drive allows for the potential of continuous operations at roughly the speed of ~25 light years per hour.

Because a ship traveling via quantum slipstream is "Flying Blind" (this trait is applied to the ship when it's at QS speeds), operationally these ships typically don't stay at such transwarp speeds for days at a time. But with a good enough scan of the laid in course, doing so isn't especially dangerous.

Activating the quantum slipstream drive requires power equal to the ships scale +1 (8 for this ship). This power cannot be regenerated while the ship is traveling at transwarp speeds. A scene that starts with the Ship having dropped out of transwarp will see it's initial power reduced by 8. The ship's energy store cap is also reduced by 8 until at least a scene not traveling at transwarp speeds has occurred.
