Samuel Larathion was born to a human mother from Thrane and a elf father from Auindair. When a young child his father was murdered before him by racist thugs. This shocking event sparked off the inborn skill provided by the passion of his mother and the magics of his father. The elven government refused to take in a young human mother and she was left alone. Raised in Thrane he grew up devoted to helping individuals in predicataments such as his own. He was so good at this that he was recruited by the order of the secret flame as a problem solver.
