Cavaliers[edit]

  • Cavalier Simone: A skilled duelist, who fought a practice duel with Don Alvaro and scored one point.
  • Cavalier Marcel: Not as skilled a duelist as Cavalier Simone.
  • Trainee Alban: A young cavalier and patrolman, fairly well-bred, taking France's place in the Ninth District.

Functionaries[edit]

  • Captain Ardelles' Secretary: He's pretty efficient.

Nobles[edit]

  • Perrin d'Andreport: The third son of a minor noble family, he wants to be an actor, is interested in Justine Carrerre, and has little income

Spies[edit]

  • Camille: A spy for Prince Jean-Remy, she is a grizzled sailor and something of a friend of Senkov's.
