based on my first skim-through of the kung fu learning rules in the companion, and the advancement rules in the core, here are the provisional changes to training times.
- kung fu training times (from the companion) are all reduced by 2 levels, but your sifu does not get a learning roll to reduce the time, only you do. This doesn't get rid of the requirement for instruction, unless you use one of the secrets of destiny.
- raising a stat takes a week, or two weeks for stats over 5
- improving a skill or buying a specialisation takes 3 days with instruction or a week without.
