A once up and coming doctor from Garnet who quickly made a name for herself thanks to her medical talents and motherly personality. Her success drew the jealous ire of Valerie Sosia, a daughter of prominent nobles and long time doctor who saw Shidi as an unwelcome annoyance. Using her family's connection and influence Valerie spread vicious rumors about Shidi. She declared that Shidi's talents were actually the work of sorcery, and that she molded the minds of her patients to not remember what happened. Word spread like wildfire, and before long Shidi found herself unwanted in the city of Garnet. Rather then let such a setback overwhelm her Shidi saw it less as a setback, and more of an opportunity to do some good elsewhere in the world. That's why when an incredibly smug Valerie met Shidi at the gate to gloat one last time, Shidi simply flashed a motherly smile and left with her head held high. Eventually Shidi's travels lead her to Elsport, a city very much in need of someone of her talents. With the aid of members of the apothecary guild Shidi hopes to provide aid to those in need, and improve the quality of life for all.
